Our new wonderful handknitted sweater Juli! Named after the village at the lake Titicaca where the Aymara women cooperative that knits these sweaters are based.  It is made of a blend of Babyalpaca Wool with Pima Cotton, giving the yarn a beautiful melange effect. It is knitted in a chunky knit and has a super cool boxy shape that just goes with everything!

This item has been knitted in Juli, Peru by la Coordinadora de Mujeres Aymara*. The fiber is 68% Babyalpaca, 32% Pimacotton undyed by Michell, Peru. *Our suppliers are frequently visited by the Jungle Folk Team. 

 

Because we love our clothes and our environment Jungle Folk recommends wear and wash this item consciously. This item almost needs no washing as alpaca and wool fibers tend to be self-regulating. Air this item and do spot treatment.
When washing then hand wash with cold water and use a gentle detergent for wool. Lay the item flat to dry. No tumble dry.
